The Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM 2019) Race Expo was bustling with life when it opened on 27th November. Throngs of runners collected their race bibs and streamed through the exhibitions.

Over at Run Singapore’s RUN Zone, the members of the X-Runners club led a pre-race evening tempo run as part of a collaboration with Visit Victoria, who were here to promote next year’s Great Ocean Road Running Festival. More than 20 runners gathered at the booth at 6.00pm before heading off for warm-up and a sunset run around the Gardens by the Bay.

They returned to RUN Zone charged with endorphins and enjoyed a presentation on the scenic and historical Great Ocean Road Running Festival. Team Singapore marathoner Jasmine Goh also shared her experiences running at this event in 2019, followed by the X-Runners providing advice and tips on training for the Great Ocean Run Running Festival 2020.

Plenty of curious participants stopped by for a meet-and-greet session with Jasmine Goh and some of the X-Runners, while also staying to find out more about the Great Ocean Road Running Festival 2020.
