Dr Lim Kay Kiat is an orthopaedic surgeon who has plenty of experience in foot and ankle surgeries. He is a runner himself, so you can understand his fascination with his specialty. His patients include S-League and National Team football players, Team Singapore athletes as well as dancers. In other words, he has dealt with extreme cases and he knows what he’s doing when it comes to the foot.  Dr Lim has published many articles in major orthopaedic journals. At this panel, Dr Lim will be speaking on how to prevent injuries while running as well as aspects of the runner’s feet when running for a long period of time.

Senior Dietician Sarah Sinaram works as a manager at the Nutrition & Dietetics department in Mt Alvernia Hospital. She helps people, both young and old, attain their weight goals through proper nutrition. She has been featured in many magazines, giving advice from eating healthily to recipes for healthy, good eating. She will be sharing on how to fine-tune a sports performance-driven body with nutrition.

Both speakers will be taking questions during the panel, and participants will be able to interact with the speakers and get first-hand answers to long-held questions, while at the same time learning more about running in general.

The panel will be held in PSB Academy, City Campus at Marina Square, on 19th August 2017, from 9am to 11am. Tickets are priced at $6 and participants will be treated to refreshments after the panel is over.
