If you grew up reading or watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, you would love a whole world devoted just to candy, chocolate and anything yummy. Unless you were as horrible as the five little children who didn’t appreciate candy for its own means, everyone wanted a chance to win the Golden Ticket and score a lifetime of chocolate.
Well, you can’t actually get an unlimited lifetime of chocolate, that’s a little unhealthy. But here’s a way to kind of fulfil that dream AND explore options to be healthy.
Titled “The World’s Most Delicious Race”, the Meiji Run 2017 is back to bring more fun for the whole family, with healthy activities for all to choose.
Three events will be at the core of the Meiji Run. Firstly, a 5km Fun Run for those who like a short distance. Then, a 10km Competitive Cash-back run which will belie sweet treats at its end when you complete it in less than 50 minutes, with possible cash-back worth up to $100, in the form of cash vouchers redeemable on race day. The last event will be a yoga session for those who do not wish to run, which will last an hour and a half. Following which , the yoga session will end with a Meiji breakfast and spa session.
Besides the races, the Meiji fair offers more treats in the form of a huge fair, open to the public. Huge deals will be available to all, and customers who spend $50 and above in a single receipt will be able to spin the prize wheel to win addition prizes. This also includes a lucky draw to win 2 air tickets to Japan so that’s going to be exciting for those who love sweet treats and holidays in the land of exquisite desserts and adorable candy.
The event will also host a mini F&B fair that will serve Japanese food, along with photo booths and even an outdoor movie screening.
