You can’t talk about fun runs without bringing the iconic Music Run into the conversation. Billed as Asia’s fittest party, The Music Run is back for its second edition in Singapore. And you can expect nothing less than wholesome, party-hearty fun at The Music Run happening on 13 April 2024!
Set against the scenic Marina Bay, speakers will line the entire 5km route, creating a ‘Sound Track’ run course. Tim Hamilton, race director of The Music Run, shares that this year’s point-to-point race set-up will elevate this year’s run experience. He says: “The race will start at the Bayfront Event Space and finish at the Marina Barrage rooftop. This is a Music Run first! It will take the 5KM soundtrack to the next level!”
It’ll be a smashing party and a wholesome one. The Music Run’s mission has been to inspire people to embrace active living from day one. Since 2014, various organisers have brought The Music Run experience to over 300,000 runners across 42 events in 13 countries.
Another highlight is of course the after-party where DJs will be keeping the party beats pumping at the deck. Adds Tim: “We are bringing in a headline act, BLINK to close The Music Run show! He's performed all over the world, with his high energy and awesome multilingual set.”
Globally, there have been six Music Runs, but what makes Singapore’s edition different is our beautiful Marina Bay view.
“The Music Run Singapore is unique to many others around the world, due to its iconic location. From the start line, through the pumping 5KM soundtrack and right through to the finish line party, it features some of the best views of Marina Bay Sand, Gardens by the Bay and the entire Singapore skyline,” says the race director.
