An update in adidas’ Boost technology and weatherproofed design makes the new Pulseboost HD a likely hot seller for the final months of the year.
Sitting lower to the ground than previous-generation designs, the Pulseboost HD running shoe is designed with a grippy outsole and form-fitting uppers to keep up with sudden stops, jukes, and quick changes in direction.
The brand states that the shoe’s new Adaptive Traxion outsole, developed by international rubber and tyre maker Continental with the help of artificial intelligence, gives maximum grip to quickly change direction on any surface, dry or wet.
The Ballistic Nylon upper is given a water repellent treatment with warm lining and reflective materials that allows the runner to stay protected during runs on cold and wet days.
When given the brief to design the Pulseboost HD, the designers started by breaking down the elements of running in a city, namely position of the foot. They found that urban runners are more on their forefoot than midfoot. Computational design and insight from key urban runners were evaluated to create the final Pulseboost HD.
Pulseboost HD Winterized is available at adidas.com/feeltheboost, via the adidas app, and in adidas stores island-wide.
