Making a difference in someone’s life does not require the biggest act. Running a distance may go a long way in creating a positive impact. Focused on shaping a compassionate society, Yellow Ribbon Project has returned with its annual Yellow Ribbon Race 2022, themed “I Race for Second Chances”.
Unlike the previous edition, this year’s race features a hybrid format in which participants may choose to take up the virtual challenge, physical race or both. You can do any sport activities on land, wheels or water to clock your distance when you sign up for YR CARE under the Virtual Race. Upon completion of the YR Care or the YR Courageous category of the virtual race, you can raise up to $50 and contribute to the aftercare support for ex-offenders and their families.
Are you an avid runner and cyclist? Take part in the YR Courageous (Duathlon)! With a total of 20km to run and 60km to cycle, it’s an exciting feat to conquer while showing support for second chances.
If you are missing the heat of running amongst others, fret not as a physical run is happening on 25 September. An interesting route encompassing the Changi Prison Complex, the race is surely not to be missed! It’s never a bad idea to go the extra mile, joining in the physical run entitles you to participate in the virtual race too.
All Virtual Race and Physical Run sign-ups will also receive an exclusive Race Pack , so don’t miss out on that! Sign up now to enjoy the Early Bird Rates!
