Aspire For Your Travel Dreams With HKSG Twincity Ultra Virtual Race 2020

Welcome to December! Here we find ourselves in the final month of what has been a very trying year for so many people around the world. Yet, with the news of the vaccine and an air travel bubble between Singapore and Hong Kong, things seemed to be picking up.

Recently, the agreement between Singapore and Hong Kong has been deferred due to the resurgence of new cases in Hong Kong. Nonetheless, we are proud to announce a new type of virtual race, the HKSG Twincity Ultra Virtual Race 2020. We are hoping to run with the hope of reuniting families and friends across the two countries, as well as igniting our aspirations for eventually travelling again.

Together we run towards a common goal: to reconnect with our dear friends from overseas in the spirit of true sportsmanship, achievement, and pride in sharing our sport with the world. In spite of the ever changing global circumstances and between Singapore and Hong Kong, the love of running and enjoying nature can be shared.

Anyone can run and you can take this opportunity to do some exercise in the midst of year end feasts and small group celebrations. Through running, we celebrate freedom, wellness and community spirit!

Event Details

The HKSG Twincity Ultra Virtual Race 2020 starts today and challenges us to run the maximum reservoir distance. Represent Hong Kong or Singapore as we all run for gold. Your participation will be based on your location rather than your nationality.

Every reservoir loop completed from 12 Dec (7 am) - 31 Dec (7 pm) 2020 counts towards your own personal ranking and total distance city ranking. Eligible reservoirs for the first edition of HKSG Ultra include:

HONG KONG

Aberdeen Reservoir (香港仔上水塘)
Kowloon Reservoir (九龍水塘)
Shing Mun Reservoir (城門水塘)
Tai Lam Chung Reservoir (大欖涌水塘)                    

SINGAPORE

MacRitchie Reservoir (麦里芝蓄水池)

Participation is free and comes with a free e-bib, as well as a chance to gun for the leader board ranking. You can also choose to top up SG$44 for a HKSG Ultra Bundle Pack with exciting entitlements for your keepsake.
