Run For Hope (RFH) is an annual run organised by Four Seasons Hotel Singapore and the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) to raise much-needed awareness and support for cancer research. For more than 30 years, the Four Seasons group of hotel & resorts across the world have been deeply committed to the cause of advancing cancer research. The Four Seasons Hotel Singapore has been supporting local cancer research through an annual run, since 1993, making this the single largest run in aid of cancer research here.
The 27th edition of the run was originally scheduled for 23rd February 2020 but has been converted to a virtual run from 4 November to 31 December 2020. Run for Hope aims for the best of both worlds, providing the safest possible experience for their participants while still supporting cancer patients and research in Singapore.
Each year, more than 10,000 people are diagnosed with cancer. It is no longer rare to find someone you know or love is or was affected by cancer. The threat of cancer is very real with the disease accounting for 1 in 4 deaths in Singapore. However, with advances in science and robust cancer research activities, we are hopeful that the progressive breakthroughs made by the NCCS team can lead to a cure.
Funds raised net operating cost will be donated to NCCS Cancer Fund. Through your continuous support, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected. Let’s make a brighter future, without cancer.
