The Dark Knight is Back

Superheroes continue to be the dominant theme for this season’s themed road races, and the Batman Run is up next.

Taking place at the Marina Barrage on 21st September, the event kicks off in the evening at 6PM and will feature a 4km Fun Run and a 8km Competitive Run for participants aged 13 years and above. Participants will receive a unique, Batarang shaped finisher’s medal, together with a T-shirt or singlet, a Batman mask, fanny pack and cape.

What’s more, the fastest man and woman in the 8km category will receive $400 worth of sponsored items each, while second and third placed finishers will win for themselves prizes valued at $200 and $100 respectively.

Children born after 21st September 2016 are eligible for free entry along the 4km route, as long as each one is accompanied by an adult that has registered to take part in either category. Strollers will be allowed along the 4km route, so even young toddlers can join in on the fun.
