The Mizuno Wave Run may not be the biggest run in Singapore, but it’s an established race that’s been in the Singapore running scene for a good amount of time. It is back again for 2017.
This year, the Mizuno Wave Run’s theme will revolve around the colours of the rainbow for numerous reasons. First, to celebrate the Mizuno Wave Rider shoe, an icon and timeless classic that celebrates its 21st anniversary of it being in the market. It also celebrates the love of all kinds, whether familial, romantic, self, and friendship. Finally, it celebrates the sports brand’s love of sports and it’s dedication to always provide a sound and healthy sports scene for people looking for sport in Singapore, all worthy reasons to gather people to run.
The running distance will be standardised at 10km, and running categories will be divided between gender and ages: The Men’s and Women’s Open will be open to people from the ages of 16 and up, and the Veteran’s categories for both men and women will be open for participants at 45 years and up, and 40 years and up respectively.
Runners in the top five for each category can stand to win attractive prizes, including Mizuno Vouchers and a 1-Year Digital Subscription to RUN Singapore.
The race will be held at Clarke Quay Central on Sunday, the 26th of November, so if you’re ready for this event, why not sign up now?
