Striiv Fusion Bio 2
Turning up the notch with the new-in from AxtroSports.
The Striiv Fusion Bio 2 is a smartwatch and a fitness tracker, claimed to be an all in one to not only supplement your fitness regime but also your lifestyle. A touchscreen display, built-in heart rate monitor and notification functions for incoming calls and messages should keep you on top of things when you’re out and about.
The fitness tracker comes packed together in three different coloured wristbands to match your moods and accessories, unlike many other trackers currently on the scene which sell additional bands at extra cost.
To turn it on, all the user has to do is to tap it at the side. In practice though, we found that it sometimes took a few tries to wake it up, but this also means that it’s less likely to be activated by accident. This does help prolong the battery life, especially for those who really move around a lot.
Much like every tech device, battery life is dependent on the usage. Five days of use between charging is quite easily achieved though.
However, a quick note here, if you are a person who is constantly on your phone, you might want to consider muting the vibrating notification function to save battery power.
By default, the tracker shows the time and date. Swipe left and you will be able to monitor your heart rate, know the number of steps you have taken, the distance travelled, calories burned and sleep measurements. The music controller functions are also accessed through this menu, and is a further swipe down the list.
The downside to the sleep measurements is that it only tracks the duration of your sleep and not how well you sleep. While other contemporaries attempt to offer a measurement of light and deep sleep cycles, the Striiv Fusion Bio 2 only records a single sleep pattern.
Still, with the number of functions packed into a sleek tracker, the Striiv Fusion Bio 2 is a bargain for anyone who needs a handy dandy to run with you in your busy life.
