New Balance VAZEE 2090

There are runners who believe that every bit of weight on your running shoes will put a dent in your performance, so the New Balance Vazee 2090 pushes the limits of how light a pair of shoes can be and still be durable.

Powered by Nitrogen-infused N2 foam and REVlite cushioning, the shoes claim to deliver a light and responsive ride. The first impression is that this is a lightweight (9.4ounce) shoe that scores high marks on style.

The Vazee 2090 boasts an interior which I found soft and comfortable. The cushioning feels just right, with the feeling of being both airy and supportive. The shoe’s interior is constructed pretty seamlessly, making it a comfortable fit with most styles of socks.

The upper mesh is constructed of a revolutionary breathable air mesh which gives it a “quick to dry” touch. It worked impressively at removing the dampness from my feet. The flexible fit design also made the first run already comfortable without the need to “run-in” the shoes.

The Vazee 2090 most certainly has a very slick design. The mesh has depth and the netting design is intricately put together. When I picked them up I was surprised by how light they were. Its streamlined design makes this one of the best-looking running shoes I've seen this year. They are light enough for running and good looking enough to wear around in the city.

The padding and contour of the shoe allow for a comfortable fit and it feels extremely light on my feet. The shoe is very breathable for hot weather conditions, keeping my feet cool on my runs.

The low 6mm offset makes this one for quick cadence runners that do not like too much height in the heel. There is plenty of material in the midsole still though, so it doesn’t feel under cushioned at all.

With the flexible fit, the Vazee 2090 feels secure and nimble. The new dynamic upper with supportive midfoot saddle is carefully designed to expand and accommodate foot motion.

The shoe provides excellent protection without sacrificing flexibility. In short the overall experience is a running shoe that’s practical and stylish.
