100PLUS launched in powdered form

One of Singapore’s most recognised isotonic sports drinks, 100PLUS, is getting a new addition to the range with the launch of the 100PLUS Active Isotonic Powder.

Consisting of essentially the same formulation as the regular 100PLUS, the new Active Isotonic Powder comes in 15g sachets which will easily fit the pocket, sports pouch, or a zipper compartment of a hiking pack.

The recommended mix is 230ml of water with each pack. Interestingly, manufacturer F&N offers up an alternative way to consume it, and suggests that you can pour the contents from the sachet into your mouth, and then have water to drink up right away.

The non-carbonated isotonic powder has added B vitamins – B3, B6, and B12, to facilitate energy production for an effective recovery after a long day outdoors. The 100PLUS Active Isotonic Powder refreshes, rehydrates, and replenishes with essential electrolytes which are crucial for efficient hydration.

The electrolytes, such as sodium, potassium, and magnesium provide an essential supplement to the body in place of the loss of the said minerals through perspiration, and help with muscle recovery.
